- New Listings decreased eight percent to 14,211. - Pending Sales increased 8 percent to 10,839. - Closed Sales were flat, with a .5 percent increase to 10,968. - Days on Market decreased 18 percent to 55 days. - Median Sales Price increased eight percent to $200,000. - Average Sales Price increased four percent to $245,458. - Inventory levels decreased 14 percent to 41,643 units. - Months Supply of Inventory was down 23 percent to four months. - Source Georgia … [Read more...]

Average Apartment rent at all time high!
Metro Atlanta Apartment rental rates have rising 4.51% over the past year. This average of $876.17 is a new high and indicates that the rental market in and around Atlanta is strong. Vacancies are down also.Demand is up now that consumer confidence has risen. The pent=up demand of adult children who lived at home and the roommate who wants their own place is helping also.
