The market in Atlanta is picking up – if you’re thinking about selling – NOW may be the best time espeically if you’re planning on buying a larger property.
It’s also time to plan out the Fall and Holiday seasons! Now is the time to map out the seasonal home maintenance like HVAC check, caulking around windows and doors, touch up painting, clean out gutters and plan on the fall yard plantings. Make your bigger holiday plans and set up the reservations or invite the guests to give everyone as much time as possible to prepare. Can you believe it’s already this late in the year?
Recently, the local real estate market has seen a rush we have not witnessed for several years in the under $200,000 price range! It is not uncommon to see multiple offers on well-priced, like-new condition homes within days of hitting the market! There are still some areas not seeing quite this fast of a rush, but well-priced homes in excellent, move-in condition are selling quickly and for closer to listed prices than we have seen in years! We need better inventory of these types of homes for buyers, so if you are thinking of making a move, then we need to talk NOW! If you’re not making a move and haven’t refinanced in the past two years it may be time to look into that also.
