Things to think about if you’re selling or buying with a tenant!
Here in Northeast Atlanta we are seeing more and more properties being sold with tenants either occupying the property or leaving just before the closing. Here are some things to provide for in your contract to avoid surprises at closing. SHOWINGS Make it easy on your tenant. Give them a lockbox and tell them not to put it out with out their approval. Atlanta Housing Two Years Away from Full Recovery
Rentals in Atlanta should prove to be good investments as Metro Atlanta home values will not regain losses from the Great Recession until the first quarter of 2016, according to the second quarter Zillow Real Estate Market Reports. For the second quarter, metro Atlanta home values averaged $149,000 -- up 18 percent year of year, but still down 14.7 percent from the market peak.
