Home prices continue a steady climb across the US with a median price of $240,000 as of the latest confirmed figures from National Association of Realtors. Many city prices are pushing homeowners out to the suburbs up to 45 minutes from a downtown area. This is good news for areas like Northwest Atlanta and the Properties that are very stable and rising at growth pace appearing to continue for some time. Builders cannot keep up with demand in this growing part of Greater Atlanta and housing is spacious and reasonably priced for the time being. Combine this with the lowest interest rates ever (we just locked in a 15 year refinance at 2.8%) this is THE time to buy or trade up!
